Mspec Lesbians are often invalidated by those in and outside of the LGBTQIA+ community. This day and week are important to helping to advance the acceptance and visibility of Mspec Lesbians.

Mspec Lesbian Visibility & Awareness Week is May 22nd - May 28th.

urgent update to my situation

hi, im a schizophrenic disabled trans bi person with DID, fibromyalgia, hypermobile joints, psoriatic arthritis and more. my living situation has changed- my old living partner left, and now i am living completely by myself: i am now solely responsible for my rent, bills, medication and more.

i make $245/month from the government while i am applying for disability. my case is currently being reviewed. i cant go out and get a job or else it will screw with my entire case. this is the only cash aid i can get while I'm waiting on my disability.

i am 2 months behind on rent. i am applying for my state's rent help program, but I'm not sure how much they will pay. i have no idea what to do in the mean time. im scared, and applying for all the help i can. i also can't drive due to my disabilities and have to rely on public transportation.

srry for being annoying with this post, i am in a lot of pain and haven't been sleeping well due to having endured a lot of trauma during my previous living arrangement. i am trying to get resituated after this massive change in my life. i have had no wi-fi, i am lacking certain appliances in my home, and i have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for 2 years now. i have been having nightmares and stress dreams all that time. my living conditions are extremely poor and i am working with as many programs as my case manager & social worker and i can find.

thank you for hearing me out, I'm just trying to get by and i know it's not easy for just about anyone right now. thank you for when you choose to interact with my posts and donate. it has a huge impact on my life ✌️

hey everyone, great news! starting monday we're relaxing our don't-piss-in-the-pool requirements and no longer mandating that swimmers control their bladders while in the water. of course if you're more comfortable not pissing in the pool, you may continue to do so - everyone should make the pee decision that feels safest for them and their family. please respect everyone's choice about where to pee. thanks 😊

fantastic update, our restaurant has lifted its smoking ban and is now smoking-optional. you may continue to not smoke inside if you'd prefer, but we're excited to now offer our guests the freedom to make everyone else in this enclosed airspace inhale whatever particulates they'd like to release via combustion. if you have like some kind of health problem or whatever, you are totally welcome to choose not to smoke. we're very excited to be getting back to normal!

hey. to the fat person reading this who wants to transition or is transitioning. make your transition goals fat like you. please. the things you aim to gain from transition can be gained while fat. you can be/express your gender and be fat. there is nothing wrong with that, no matter what anyone says. i promise.

let yourself exist. let yourself be happy. you have just as much of a right as every other person in this world to do that, especially as you transition. it's okay. you're going to be alright, and you're also going to look fucking awesome. you already look fucking awesome. it's your body. own it.
